WHAT DO UNITED NET CONNECT DO?
United Net Connect is a new age, next generation distributor for specialist high-grade cyber security solutions. We provide a Specialist ISP Division that provides these Security service layers with an internet connection. We have amassed a number of strategically located IT Support Companies, with whom we work closely, covering the United Kingdom and parts of mainland Europe.
WHY DO I NEED CYBER SECURITY?
In the modern world, many businesses depend on their online presence to become or maintain success. The increasing reliance of our information age economies and governments on cyber (computer-based) infrastructure makes them progressively more vulnerable to cyber attacks on our highly valuable computer systems, networks and data.
In their most disruptive form, cyber attacks target the enterprise, government, military, or other infrastructural assets of a nation or its citizens. Both the volume and sophistication of cyber threats (cyber warfare, cyber terrorism, cyber espionage and malicious hacking) are monotonically increasing, and pose potent threats to our enterprise, government, military, or other infrastructural assets.
CAN I BUY UNITED NET CONNECT PRODUCTS SEPARATELY AND NOT PURCHASE AN INTERNET CONNECTION AS I AM MID-WAY THROUGH MY TERM WITH MY CURRENT BROADBAND SUPPLIER?
Yes, you can do this quite easily. In some cases, we can even help you exit your current contract with your broadband supplier although we would advise you to remain with them at least until your current contract ends.
Either way, we will hold prices until your school is ready should you later prefer to use a broadband connection from United Net Connect. If you are happy with your current broadband supplier and do not wish to change, we can simply continue to supply your school with our other products. We do this for many schools throughout the country.
CAN MY CURRENT I.T SUPPORT COMPANY SUPPORT US WITH THE UNITED NET CONNECT PRODUCTS?
Yes, when we discuss your requirements with you we make sure we involve your I.T Support Company and can train them to support our products.
SUPPOSING MY WEB FILTERING SOFTWARE DOES NOT EXPIRE YET BUT I WANT TO PURCHASE AN INTERNET CONNECTION FROM YOU FOR THE TIME BEING UNTIL IT DOES EXPIRE?
Yes, you can purchase the connection from us now and we will await the termination of your current software licensing and then offer you pro-rata pricing when the time is right for your school.
CAN I UPGRADE MY CONNECTION MID-CONTRACT?
Of course, we can upgrade your internet line at any time and usually there is no additional upgrade fees to pay.
I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE A NUMBER OF SCHOOLS WHO ACT AS REFERENCE SITES FOR YOUR SERVICE. CAN MY SCHOOL BECOME A REFERENCE SITE FOR YOUR SERVICE IN MY AREA?
Of course we would be delighted to discuss this with you together with your local Premier Reseller.
We do offer a number of additional benefits to schools who act as reference sites, although we tend to only have a small number in each area but they do tend to be the larger schools with a full time IT person or persons employed, as we don’t want ‘onboarding schools’ to keep bothering teachers as they are very busy people.
TECHNICALLY, WHO SUPPORTS MY SCHOOL FOR THE UNITED NET CONNECT SERVICE?
This depends on which United Net Connect Partner you purchase from. If they are a Premier Partner, all of your support will come directly from them, if they are any other Partner United Net Connect will provide you with the support.
